Please note that from the UK, 16E needs a 90cm dish.
This kit uses a 3 degree "monoblock" type fitting. The 3 degree monoblock fits a 40mm
feed support boss and so the block can be fitted with the 16E LNB prioritised
in the middle of the boom arm for maximum signal to the weaker satellite.
The "side kick" LNB can then be set for the stronger satellite of 13E or 19E.
Some companies sell this monoblock to fit a none standard 60mm clamp.
Most dishes do not have a 60mm clamp. If fitted in a 60mm clamp, the two LNBs
sit on either side of the boom arm and equal signal is received by each LNB.
This is not ideal as 16E needs more signal and should be prioritised. Therefore, our
40mm kit is better for this 16E application. The second satellite can be either Astra 1
or Hotbird depending on what side of the boom arm the second LNB is set to.

It uses QUIET gears and unlike some motors there is no play in the motor from new. It also hangs from above

Heavy duty motorised dish kits and larger dishes.
In exposed locations and with larger dishes it is best to use heavier duty 36-volt motors. 36-volt
motors are larger and more powerful. This extra power comes from the V Box (a type of power supply) and a 4-wire
control cable. It all works automatically with the receivers own remote control.
Our recommendations.
1. In very high wind load situations use a 36-volt motor kit.
2. In all other situations the excellent Technomate Diseqc motor shown in the kits above is fine up
to 90cm steel dishes and up to 1.0m aluminium dishes but for larger dishes, heavier 36-volt motors
must be used. Remember, with big dishes, big lumps of metal (heavy motors) are needed to withstand winds,

Taking a 1.2m dish as an example - A 40mm LNB may only illuminate 1.1m of dish area or perhaps 1.3m
of dish area (i.e. including noise round the edges) but with a matched feedhorn, exactly 1.2m of dish
area is illuminated. This feedhorn is for offset dishes and can also be used on other makes of offset
dish. It comes with adapters for either 23mm or 40mm clamps and it comes with the ultimate 0.3 dB

heavy duty actuator & Andrews matched
feedhorn with C120 0.3dB Inverto LNB
Channel Master 1.8m dish. Very high gain one piece proven design. This motor unit is
exclusive to the Satellite Superstore. Polar mount with aluminum adapter to fit Andrews
(Channel Master) 1.8m dish. Designed and built by the Satellite Superstore.
The polar mount picture above shows a standard 12 inch actuator but we include the HEAVY DUTY
18 inch actuator (also shown above) with this polar mount, - not the standard 12 inch.
The heavy duty actuator is, longer, thicker and much stronger.
The light-weigh (but very strong) aluminum adapter bracket fits onto the back of the Andrews
1.8m dish. The adapter bracket is made of unequal box and uses aluminum welding with bracing
gussets. This gives maximum strength combined with lightness. The lightness puts less strain

The polar mount collar fits a 3 inch (76mm) pole or ground stand.
Andrews (Channel Master) feedhorn. Highly recommended for Channel Master 1.8m dishes.

Buying a fully loaded (programmed)
satellite receiver for motorised use.
This service is available for any motorised dish. If you are buying a system, or just a receiver
and you already have a motorised dish, we can take the receiver out of its box and fully program
it on one of our demonstration dishes. This would mean that the new programmed receiver can be
connected up by the customer and all the satellites channels will work straight away.
(Providing it is connected to a dish that is properly fitted, set up, and tracking the arc)
It would take a customer about many hours to program a receiver (since there would be
unfamiliarity with the installation menu system). After programming, the channels are then organised
in a logical order. (This is what takes the most time.) We make sure the first channel on every
satellite is a clear free to air unscrambled channel. Channels are organised into a logical order.
e.g. Adult channels all together etc. Movie packages .. etc. Moving all of the channels into a
logical order can take days. This programming is ONLY £19.95 This service is entirely optional
but for mail order customers it can take a great deal of the worry and uncertainty out of a
purchase. The programmed receiver is supplied without dish positions to be used with any dish.
Only the positions and the limits need to be added. This is a 10 minute job. This option is
ideal if you are buying a full motorised system and you intend to fit it yourself.
This option helps a great deal. It also makes it easier to install a motorised dish as channels
already loaded can help identify the satellite if a budget satellite meter is being used. Detailed
installation notes written by us are included and we can talk you through the installation
over the phone if required. See our support package on our
support page.
Our notes guide you through how to connect a programmed receiver, and setting the positions.
In addition, useful easy to follow notes on blind searching written by us are included for
future reference. For international orders, this option has one other worthwhile purpose.
The receiver is fully tested before shipping while it is being programmed.

Problems of using more than one Diseqc switch
with multiple LNBs

You will also find options for the fitting of a twin or quad LNB as a substitution
with ONE of the 3 or 4 LNBs so that a popular satellite can go to several receivers.
e.g. putting a twin or quad in the 28E position so that a Sky digibox or Sky + can
be connected as well as the CI receiver to that LNB That means the CI receiver and the
Sky box both are connected to 28E but the CI receiver is also connected to other
satellites through ONE Diseqc switch.
You will not find on our site 2.3 or 4 satellite kits with twin or quad LNBs and
more than one Diseqc switch to either two receivers or a twin tuner receiver.
REASON.
Whilst it should all work in theory, in practice
(depending on the combination of switch positions) you can get no signal on a
satellite when it should all work. This is because twin LNBs and Quad LNB should
be fully connected to work properly. It may be OK to connect to two outputs of a quad
but you have to experiment to find out which two. With a twin, one side has a good
connection to the internal power supply circuit and the other is almost like a passive
device and relies on power from the second receiver to work properly
If you connect two or more Diseqc switches, they take power away from some of the
outputs of the twin or quad LNBs (depending on the switching at the time) and
things go wrong.
IS THERE A SOLUTION?
Yes there is - a new solution - but quite expensive. It will be on our site soon as
an option on all of the twin tuner receiver pages eventually but see it at
multiswitches
(and above). The 9 in and 6 out and the 17 in an 6 out ...etc. This is a product designed to
do the job. Quatro LNBs must be used but all the switching is done inside the unit
and there are no power issues
