Smart Titanium diSEqC switches



4-way and 2-way
High quality Diseqc switches from Smart Electronics in Germany. We have sold the excellent award winning Smart
Titanium LNBs for many years. Now the high quality Titanium Diseqc switches are also available. The two-way switch
enables two LNBs to be connected to one receiver. The four-way switch enables four LNBs to be connected to one receiver
all down one down one cable. Automatic switching between the satellites is then possible. The Diseqc switch is usually
cable tied to the back of the dish. These Titanium switches are very small. The plastic cover covers the internal metal
switch and the connections. They are waterproof but amalgamating tape should be used on normal F connectors
OR compression F Connectors can be used without tape as these connectors are completely waterproof.

SLX Omni Link Kit +.
Wired control for all receivers.





Just like the TV eye link system used for Sky Digiboxes, this system works with all receivers. It works with the existing
UHF distribution system in your home. Control up to three devices. One remote link eye includes for one remote room. Extra
SLX link eyes for more rooms are available below. Connect up the link to the satellite receiver and the TV link at the end
of the cable in the remote room and have full control of the satellite receiver from that room.
If your satellite receiver does not have a built in modulator (that is a UHF coaxial output - aerial type socket) you
will need a Triax Tri-Link below.
This converts a scart output to a UHF output and has a built in Omni link to provide control with the standard
TV eyes fitted to the ends of the cables. Extra TV eyes for extra rooms are availble below and at "TV eyes"

Labgear UHF Modulator





Many high definition receivers do not have a UHF modulator built into them (this is the Aerial in and out connections
on the back) The reason for this may be that manufacturers do not consider UHF to be of sufficiently high quality to
justified inclusion in an HD receiver, or it may be just to reduce costs. However, many people do have a UHF
distribution system in their home so that they can view channels in many rooms. If the only outputs on a receiver
are scart and HDMI it is not possible to connect into the distribution system and “pipe” the satellite around the
house. This modulator solves this problem. You can scart the satellite signal into the modulator and feed the UHF
output into the distribution system. The frequency (channel) can be set so that it does not interfere with other
items (aerial, DVD etc.) that may also be on the system. This is a very useful product at a low price. If you want
to distribute the signal around the house AND you want to control the receiver as well, you need the Triax Tri-Link below.
Another alternative is to use the modulator with a radio remote extender. This will also offer control from any room.

Triax Tri-link





The Triax Ti-Link combines the omni link and the modulator (above) all in one box AND has a through
scart connection so you don't lose a scart input when you use it.
If you are buying a freesat receiver or a non Sky receiver WITHOUT a UHF outlet, you will need this kit if
you want to distribute TV around the house with control in each room using a UHF distribution system. (Cabling is needed)
(Many houses already have an existing UHF distribution system with an amplifier in the loft and cables to each room.)
The built in modulator converts the scart output of your receiver to a UHF coax outlet and the internal link is
a special TV eye system for non Sky receivers so that your handset has control in other rooms.
This system then works with standard (Sky designed) TV eye. A TV eye is included. The coax output can go
direct to another room, to to a distribution amplifier and then to many rooms. Extra TV eyes would then be needed.
If you want to control up to 4 satellite receivers in other rooms you would then also need a multiroom combiner.

This is a wireless system of extending the remote control to other rooms. It is not infra red - it uses radio frequencies that
will pass through walls and have a long range. Simply walk into any room with your handset (or extra handset) and you can
control your satellite receiver wherever it is in the house. The ideal easy to use remote extender. Even in the same room

Stacker De-Stacker & Plus model

Left to right above - twin LNB, stacker, single cable (WF100) Destacker (with power suplly) output two cables .... to
two receivers or a twin tuner PVR. This device is designed to send the two outputs from a twin LNB down one cable.
Please note that good quality cable is recommended. It may be that the cable is already installed and a second
cable or a replacement cable is not possible. The Stacker Destacker will work but works on longer cable runs if
good cable is already fitted. Whilst the manufacturer claims quite a long cable run with the "plus" kit, since
they do not know the quality of the cable that is already installed we would only recommend cable runs up to
about 40m approx. If a longer cable run is in use, it may still work fine. Even on longer cable runs or poor
cable, if it does not work 100% it may still work at 90% (approx.). That means it is likely that all TV channels
should work fully on one of the 2 outputs from the LNB but (maybe) 10% of the channels may not work at one end of
the frequency band from the other LNB output This may still be acceptable to some customers that cannot fit a
second cable. Suitable for use with twin tuner receivers like Sky +, Sky + HD, Humax HDR LE, and other twin
tuner receivers like the Technomate TM7102 etc. A power supply is included for the destacker but on cable
runs up to 20m this is not usually needed. A standard Stacker De-stacker is shown in the picture above, the
plus kit includes an additional amplifier. In our tests (March 2012) the standard kit (without the amp) worked
perfectly with a 20m length of single Webro WF 100 cable. Longer lengths and the "plus" kit with the amp will
be tested soon.
Update 15th March 2012 - Tested with 40m of cable and all channels worked perfectly
without needing to use the optional amp, however, we were using very good UDC cable.
Also note that the stacker destacker is also available with our 5 input range of multiswitches. Here, 4, 8,
12, 16, 24 and 32 outputs are all available from a quad or quatro LNB and a twin cable using a two stacker
destackers and a Primesat multiswitch. This with provide many satellite outputs (up to 32)
in a household if only a twin cable is available from the dish to the inside of the house.

Triax Aerial and Satellite Combiner

The two way combiner will combine two UHF signals. e.g. CCTV and an aerial signal. It is wideband (not filtered).
on both inputs and so it can combine two UHF sources (e.g. before feeding them into a multiswitch). Alternatively
it can also be used as a splitter if connected the other way round. It could be used to split two satellite signals
but then the receiver on one output would control the band an polarity of the other output. (The best way to obtain
two satellite signals from one cable is a twin LNB and a Stacker Destacker). Two versions are available,
2 inputs one output or 1 input and two outputs and 4 inputs 1 output or 1 input and 4 outputs. The Triax 2-way combiner
has DC pass on both sides in the "combining" direction. (If used with a multiswitch, the output of a TV, FM and DAB
combiner can be fed into one of the inputs of this combiner and the other input fed with the UHF from the CCTV output.
If the CCTV device does not have a UHF output you may also need a modulator to convert composite to UHF.)

This is a professional 8 way amp that provides a significant gain.
With cheaper amps the signal is amplified to make up for losses in the splitting process
but the resultant gain may only be "1" and so little real amplification takes place.
The Labgear professional amp is different. It provides enough gain for long cable runs
in larger houses so that the picture at the end of the long cable is still very good.
Even if only a 2 way, 4 way or 6 way amp is needed, if the cable runs are long it
would be advisable to use this unit. A long cable run would be 25+ metres.
We have fully tested this unit in a large house and when the SLX 8 way unit above
produced a grainy poor picture in two distant rooms, the Labgear unit, once
substituted in, provided a perfect picture. Identical specification Triax (Wolsey)
