Buying a fully loaded (programmed) Topfield receiver,



This service is available for any motorised dish (excluding Diseqc Motors). If you are buying a system, or
you already have a motorised dish that uses a 36 volt motor. (e.g. Channel Master or Triax
polar mount, 1224 Supermount on a Channel Master dish, Funke, etc.) we can take the Topfield out of its
box and fully program it on one of our demonstration dishes. This would mean that the new programmed
receiver can be connected up by the customer and it will then all the channels will work straight away.
(Providing it is connected to a dish that is properly fitted, set up, and tracking the arc) Usually the
receiver is left on either 1 degree west or Astra at 19 E depending on which is preferred.
It would take a customer about 2 hours (or longer) to program a topfield (since there would be
unfamiliarity with the installation menu system). One of our engineers can program a Technomate in under
2 hours (with practice it becomes quicker) After programming, the channels are then organised in a logical order.
This is what takes the time. We make sure the first channel on every satellite is a clear free to air
unscrambled channel.
All packages are organised together. e.g. AB sat package, French package, Dutch package etc.
Moving all of the channels into a logical order can take days. This programming is ONLY £19.95
This service is entirely optional but for mail order customers it can take a great deal of the worry &
uncertainty out of a purchase. (Please note that this service includes programming the receiver set up menus,
programming the digital channel downloads which come with automatic channel naming.
The programmed receiver is supplied without dish positions to be used with any dish.
Only the positions and the limits need to be added. This is a 10 minute job.
This option is ideal if you are buing a full motorised system below and you intend to fit
it yourself. This option helps a great deal.
Detailed installation notes written by use are included and we can talk you through the
installation over the phone.
For international orders, this option has one other worthwhile purpose.
The receiver is fully tested before shipping.
